Today, I have two examinations, but I feel easiler than others, because I should not memorize everything and I can have documents. After I finiched have exams, I go to inter nationalcenter with Narisa. Osawa-san give me LJMU's application document. He is so exciting. He talked about Liverpool trip. I am going tell you about my favorite movie. I like "Mamma Mia!". The movie is a comedy film in 2008 and base on the song of successful pop group ABBA. This title originates from ABBA’s top chart in 1975. Playing the role of single mother is Donna Sheridan. Pierce Brosnan, Colin Firth, and Stellan Skarsgard play the three possible fathers to Donna’s daughter, Sophie. I like characters that are Donna and Sophie, because they have charming voice. Meryl Streep plays Donna in movie. She is Sophie’s mother and owner of the hotel Villa Donna, and wife of Sam at the end. She is also Rosie and Tanya’s friend. Amanda Seyfried plays Sophie Sheridan, sophie’s possible father. I like hers smile. Mamma Mia! received mixed reviews from critics. This report is things about Liverpool John Moores University. Liverpool John Moores University is located in the city of Liverpool in England. The University was established in 1924. There are 240000 (two hundred forty thousand) students and 3000 international students.

In the Library of Liverpool John Moores University. There are three Learning Resource Centers. They called the library LRCs. The two largest and most modern LRC facilities are based on the City campus and used mainly by students studying on the city campus. “There are more than 68,500 (sixty eight thousand and five hundred) books in the LRCs' collections.” (Lennon studios, 2011, online) LRC’s open 24 hours a day for students.

There is no dining facility in LJMU so students should eat out of the school building. There are many cafeterias around the university. In the other facilities, the school campus is next to the international center and there are ATMs and a post office there. The post office, bank, and shopping mall are near by the university.

There are 15 dormitories for students. Students should find and decide to the dorm. Genevieve Waite recommends the dorm that is called Lennon Studios. The Lennon studio is very near the university campus. It takes about 2 minutes. “The Lennon Studios form part of the Student Village complex and are organized into flats containing between 5 and 8 study bed rooms each.” (LJMU Accommodation,2010.) In academic year 2011/12, bedrooms at Lennon Studios will cost either ￡105.00 or ￡114.00 per week depending on size and are let on size and are let on a standard 42 week. By comparison La Trobe uni and JMU has bank,post, etc facility in each campus. But La Trobe uni and Melbourne city are far apart. JMU is not so far to the downtown of Liverpool. In La Trobe case, If we want to go to shopping. La Trobe uni is must be inconvenient.

There are many kind of major in La Trove university.

La Trove University has substantial Humanities of faculty in Australian university.

Especially, Business and Communication faculty are received high praise. And Nursing science faculty is one of the oldest Educational institution and continues to receive high praise.

ESL center

This university has no ESL, but has International Study Centre. International students can use here for degree preparation courses if they don’t meet requirements for graduation. International students can take the classes in all the campus facilities if they want to make their English language skills and academic foundation.

There are 1A~5B classes and 3 courses.

After take a test, devide each class and course. There are 3 classes. First, general English has stage 1~5. This courses is learn wide range of common communication by English. It takes 50 weeks to graduate this courses. Secondly, English for Further studies has stage 4 and 5. If you can graduate stage4, you can learn in stage5. stage5 to enroll to regular courses. Finally, English for Business is a class for learn use English at work or enroll to Business College. It takes from 10weeks to 20weeks to graduate this course.

By comparison, in La Trobe uni,We must take test for devide each class as soon as we arrive. And if we don't get score enogh, We must study in ESL. In LJMU, International student don't need to take test for devide class. international students are able to study in regular class without study in ESL.

Club and Activities

Liverpool John Moores university has many clubs and society. This university is famous for sports science, and having many sports team and clubs. There are clubs doing sports that is not familiar in Japan like cricket and lacrosse. There are also clubs and society that is not concerning sports like “architecture society” “math society”. The university seems to have societies like “Chinese society”, ”Japanese society” “Jewish society” , and “Islamic society” The society is consisted of the students from each countries and it seems that the students from each countries have to join the each countries’ society. These societies are run by students.

There are over than 50 athlete clubs ,Aikido, Badminton, Baseball, Basketball, etc.

These has leave good result. There are many kind of student organizations, International student Association, Business student Association, etc. There are student organizations at each faculty. And Student hold Barbecue party each term, Many student have competed in it. Each dorm has held party once a month.

In United Kingdom, we don’t have to pay money for get the medical services. This is called “National Health Service (MHS)”. First, register name to Primary Health Care’s General Practitioner, that is a local doctor. If a person feel sick or have bad in his or her body, ask the general practitioner and we can receive the medical services.

Japanese speaking doctors or Nurse are in Australian main cities.

If want to use Medical Agencies, need to receive treatment or Examination from doctors who called General practitioner. You can receive treatment or examination from specialist when if it determined to need receive treatment or examination.

There are close to many attractions. The most famous attraction is great ocean road. There is great view of nature, ocean ,animals, star ocean, and foods. 　

And Melbourne is done many kind of Festival. Many people join and enjoy festival. Melbourne city has very famous beech called St kilda beech. The beech is a lot of people enjoy and gather in every summer. The city building is also very beautiful. The building in the Melbourne city similar to the old european view. Therefore, Melbourne city is called second stockholm.

Liverpool is accessible and has many way of transportation. There are many local buses running in Liverpool and long distance buses also running through Liverpool. It is easy to go other cities from Liverpool. It took about 5 hours from Liverpool to London. Liverpool has John Lennon Airport, which

まとめIn Liverpool, We can walk to the downtown because that is near the university and the dorm. When we have heavy or large luggege, we use the bus. We heard that the buses' fare is cheper than that in Japan. In Australia, LTU is far from the center of the city, so people always uses the transportation like train, buses and so on.
